Xiaomi Postpones the launch date of Mi 10 in India amid COVID-19 fear
Amid the massive coronavirus outbreak, Xiaomi has decided to temporarily halt its plans of the Xiaomi Mi 10 launch in India next week. However, the premium smartphone will be launched in the UK. But here’s the catch!
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pricing
The Xiaomi Mi 10 will be a lot more expensive than its previous variant. The company announced that the Mi 10 will retail for 700 Euro, which amounts to approximately 57000 INR. This essentially puts it in the same bracket as the Samsung Galaxy S20 series and Apple’s iPhone 11 series. The Mi 10 comes in two storage capabilities – 128 GB and 256 GB. While the former is priced at 700 Euro, consumers will have to shell out 800 Euro for the latter.

Xiaomi’s India Plans
The country is crippled by the fear of COVID-19 at the moment. In this scenario, Xiaomi is not launching the Mi 10, which was earlier scheduled to go on shelf on 31st March. As of now, there is no update on any future launch date.
Interestingly, Xiaomi has no plans of launching its next model – Mi Pro in India (which is equipped with a dedicated telephoto camera Well, the reason is not very clear as of now. But it seems that the Mi Pro could be even costlier, and Xiaomi does not want to bring a high-budget model into the Indian market as of now.
